Amazing Race 9 is Over!
One Team Wins a Million Dollars!
One $62 Winner of the Pool!
Check out the Weekly Standings page to see who won the BIG POT! You can also see how close or how far YOU were away from winning.
We have 31 players this season. The BIG POT will be $62 and the weekly pot will start at $3.10. Check the rules below to see how the weekly pot will be paid out.
Don't forget we have an "Amazing Race Pool Forum " to voice out opinions about the race. I made it so you have to register so it will keep the riff raff out but it is a simple process. So head on over, sign in and give us your two cents worth. I'll have polls for everyone to do once in awhile also.
Official Rules:
Fill out the Entry Form with your choices. First place is who you feel will WIN the race. Eleventh place is who you think will be ELIMINATED first. And so on. Submit the form and get the money to me.Here's how the point system works:
Each player will submit an entry form with their picks on how they think the "teams" will place in the race from 1st - 11th place. Each elimination round, players will receive points based on those picks. Example: Say that the team of BJ and Tyler are eliminated first (or 11th place). You picked BJ and Tyler to come in 5th. You would receive 6 points that elimination, which is the difference between 5th and 11th. If you had picked BJ and Tyler to be eliminated first (or 11th place) then you would have received 0 points. The points will be tallied each week and the player with the lowest points at the end of the season wins the BIG POT!The "Elimination Pot" will be paid out each elimination round. It will be paid to the player/players that get zero points that week. If there are no player/players with zero points that elimination, the pot will be added to the remaining elimination pot and be divided equally by the remaining eliminations. This will make the pot alittle bit bigger. The amount of the ELIMINATION POT will vary by the number of people playing AND whether there was a winner the previous week.
Don't forget to check out the Amazing Race 9 Official Website for extra video and a recap of the weekly events.
